Artwork

What if I don’t have artwork?

Don’t worry. Send us what you have. Our professional art team (the largest in the industry!) will work with what you have to create exactly what you need FREE. Don’t have art? Just tell your Customer Care Rep what you are thinking of, and we will create it for you FREE. Nearly every other promotional products company we know of charges for these services in some way, not us. If you do not have artwork and would like us to typeset your information we can do that as well. This is a tremendous value!

Where do I send my artwork?

Simply reply and attach it to your order confirmation e-mail and we’ll take it from there. You can also send it to artwork@anypromo.com or e-mail directly to your Customer Care Representative.

Artwork Requirements

Preferred Image Formats

EPS, .AI, .CDR (Vector format with fonts converted to outlines or curves)

Accepted Image Formats

Any PC compatible file. Please do not send compressed Mac Files.

Typesets and Fonts

If sending vector/print-ready artwork (.ai, .cdr, .eps) with embedded fonts, please be sure that all fonts are converted to curves or outlines to avoid any font substitutions. If sending raster artwork (.jpg, .png, .bmp, .tif, or a Photoshop generated .eps file) with embedded fonts, please specify the font used so we can recreate text accurately. If you would like us to try and match the embedded font, please specify in the comments.

Unique Fonts: If you are submitting text only for your imprint, you will be offered a choice of several popular fonts. We also have many fonts installed in our system that we are able to use upon request. If a specific font is requested that we do not have on file, we may ask that you have a copy of the font sent to our art department.

Vector vs. Raster Images

Lets take a moment to discuss the difference between vector graphics and raster graphics. Most of our products require vector artwork to ensure a satisfactory imprint. Word processors, spreadsheet, or presentation applications, although suitable for creating files for office or Internet use, are not recommended for creating digital art for print. Microsoft Office applications are included in this group. However, in some cases such files may be converted to enable use.

Vector Graphics

Vector Graphics are typically generated using drawing or illustration programs (e.g., Adobe Illustrator or Corel Draw) and are composed of mathematically-defined geometric shapes such as lines, objects, and fills. Since vectors entail both magnitude and direction, vector elements are thus comprised of line segments whose length represents magnitude and whose orientation in space represents direction.

Vector graphics are easily modified within the creating application and are usually not affected detrimentally by scaling (enlarging or reducing their size). Because vector elements are mathematically-defined, scaling simply requires modification of their mathematical locations. However, vector files do not support photographic imagery well and can often be problematic for cross-platform exchange. Vector graphics are typically saved in EPS format.

Raster Graphics

Raster Images are produced by digital image capture devices, such as digital scanners or cameras, or by pixel editing programs (e.g., Adobe Photoshop). Raster images are composed of a matrix (grid) or bitmap of digital picture elements (pixels). Pixels are squares or rectangles described as black, white, Gray, or color. Raster images are typically saved as TIFF format, but can be saved as EPS as well. Whereas conversion from vector to raster is easily accomplished, raster conversion to vector is much more difficult (and is often impossible, especially when converting fonts). Raster images are easily shared across various platforms, but can be more difficult than vector graphics to modify. Raster graphics are also impacted by scaling.

Virtual Proofs

When it comes to promotional items, there's nothing more important than making sure your message is heard loud and clear. Your Customer Care Representative will email or fax a free virtual proof of your imprint to ensure your complete satisfaction before we begin production. If you need to make changes, we will work with you to get your artwork exactly the way you want it. Production will only begin when you are completely satisfied with your imprint, so you know your promotional products will convey your branding message professionally and accurately!

Where do I send my artwork?

During the checkout process when placing your order online (www.anypromo.com) you will be able to upload the artwork at that moment. In some occasions, if you have difficulties uploading your art, simply e-mail it to: artwork@anypromo.com or e-mail directly to your Customer Care Representative. Note: When emailing your artwork, please provide your Order Number on the subject line.

Can I specify a PMS color for my imprint?

Yes! Keep in mind however, that in some cases there is an additional charge for this service in order to get the specialized ink if an exact match is required. There are also a few products where, due to the limitations of the imprinting process, exact PMS matching is not possible. Your Customer Care Representative will help you with this. Just let us know which colors we should be working towards in the additional comments section in the order process, or just let your representative know (you will get an e-mail from them shortly after you place your order!).

Sending Artwork

Artwork can be uploaded via the “My Account” option on the AnyPromo website after an order is placed, you may also email the artwork to artwork@anypromo.com (please be sure to include your order number in the subject line). Please try to send black and white vector/print-ready artwork created in one of the following programs: Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, or Macromedia Freehand. Popular vector format file extensions include: .ai, .cdr, .eps.

An artist will contact you to resolve any issues that arise in creating print-ready artwork if you send art in the following formats: .jpg, .png, .bmp, .tif, or a Photoshop-generated .eps file. Not sending vector/print-ready artwork may delay your order, as artwork will have to be touched up and/or recreated.

Please try to avoid sending Microsoft Office document files such as Word or Excel. If an Office document is sent with images, please send them separately.

Do you keep my art on file?

Yes! We keep your artwork on file to make reordering and using your art on other products simple and easy! Artwork is saved for up to two years. This makes your repeat order processes a lot quicker and you do not have to worry about re-sending artwork.

What Imprinting Methods do you offer?

There are many different ways to imprint your name or logo onto our many promotional products. Some popular methods are screen printing, laser engraving, and heat stamping. Unless otherwise noted, the pricing and set up fee listed for each item includes a one color, one location imprint. Please take a moment to learn more about the various imprint methods we offer. What is Screen Printing?

Screen printing is arguably the most versatile of all printing processes. It can be used to print on a wide variety of substrates, including paper, paperboard, plastics, glass, metals, and fabrics. Some common products from the screen printing industry include posters, labels, decals, signage, electronic circuit boards, and all manner of textiles. The advantage of screen printing over other print processes is that the press can print on substrates of any shape, thickness and size.

A significant characteristic of screen printing is that a greater thickness of the ink can be applied to the substrate than is possible with other printing techniques. This allows for some very interesting effects that are not possible using other printing methods. Due to the simplicity of the application process, a wider range of inks and dyes are available for use in screen printing than for use in any other printing process.

Utilization of screen printing presses has begun to increase because production rates have improved. This has been a result of the development of the automated and rotary screen printing press, improved dryers, and U.V. curable ink. The major chemicals used include screen emulsions, inks, solvents, surfactants, caustics and oxidizers used in screen reclamation. The inks used vary dramatically in their formulations.

What is Off-set Lithography Process?

Printing processes such as offset lithography use printing plates to transfer an image to paper or other substrates. The plates may be made of metal, plastic, rubber, paper, or other materials. The image is put on the printing plates using photomechanical, photochemical, or laser engraving processes. The image may be positive or negative.

What is Heat Stamping Process?

Heat stamping or hot stamping is a process in which an engraved image mold or hot stamping die is heated then forced down against a product with a colored marking foil sandwiched in between. The area where the die cast mold meets the product is where the ink from the foil is left behind.

Hot stamping can be used to mark a multitude of different materials, most commonly plastic and wood. The most attractive aspect of hot stamping is that it is a dry process, so there is no need to worry about mixing inks.

Product Screen Printing Applications

Screen printing is arguably the most versatile of all printing processes. It can be used to print on a wide variety of substrates, including paper, paperboard, plastics, glass, metals, and fabrics. Some common products from the screen printing industry include posters, labels, decals, signage, electronic circuit boards, and all manner of textiles. The advantage of screen printing over other print processes is that the press can print on substrates of any shape, thickness and size.

Print Method - Laser Engraving

Laser engraving is the practice of using lasers to engrave, etch, or mark an object. The technique can be very complex, and often a computer system is used to drive the movements of the laser head. Despite the complexity, very precise and clean engravings can be achieved at a high rate.

Print Method - Heat Stamping

Heat stamping or hot stamping is a process in which an engraved image mold or hot stamping die is heated then forced down against a product with a colored marking foil sandwiched in between. The area where the die cast mold meets the product is where the ink from the foil is left behind. When a product is marked with a properly formulated foil, it can withstand very harsh conditions and be very long lasting. When using a metal die on a plastic part, you can actually brand the product at the same time. If the color should fade or wear off, the branded image will remain. Hot stamping can be used to mark a multitude of different materials, most commonly plastic and wood.

Print Method - Embossing

Embossing is a highly decorative technique which raises surfaces to transform ordinary, flat, and lifeless material into uniquely contoured, 3-dimensional patterns. Most often used on letterhead, business cards, certificates, and logos, embossing enhances any design and gives your product a look of sophistication and style.

Print Method - Debossing

Where embossing raises the surfaces of materials, debossing works in reverse by pushing the surfaces of materials inward via a heat-pressing process. Often used for logos and titles, debossing enhances the appearance of your products by adding 3-dimensional depth. This technique can be used to give your product that much sought after eye-catching appeal.

Ordering

How fast will I get my order?

Production times are listed for every item on the site. This is the number of business days it takes to print your item with a single color imprint after you’ve approved your artwork. The number of days for delivery depends on the shipping method you choose. As part of the online order process we show you the shipping charges for ground (usually 2-5 days transit time), 3-day, 2-day and next day shipment. If you need an item faster than the production time shown or if you have any questions contact us we love a challenge and would be happy to help!

What if I receive more or less than I ordered?

Typically in our industry a 10% over run/under run policy is in place. For any “overruns” we charge you only for the exact quantity that was shipped. In the event we ship fewer than ordered, you’ll be charged only for what you received.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can cancel at any time prior to the order going into production. Once the product has been imprinted with your logo, we can no longer accept a cancellation. If you should cancel your order while it is already in production; cancellation charges as well as charges already accumulated from printing the job need to be paid for. If you need to change your order for any reason, please contact your Customer Care Representative.

What are set up charges?

Some of the items we offer have “set-up” charges (screen charges, die charges, etc.). It is important to note these are NOT art charges. These are charges to create the screen, die or other necessary items to imprint your specific logo.

If I reorder an item will I pay set-up charges again?

If you place an exact reorder (same art and item) within 2 years you may not have to pay a set-up charge again, depending on the item you are purchasing. If you would have to pay a “repeat set-up” charge it is less than the original set-up cost. Your Customer Care Representative will ensure to advise you if there would be a repeat setup charge.

Will I see a proof before my order goes into production?

Yes! You always see a proof of your item which must be approved by you before we proceed!

Do you charge sales tax?

We collect all applicable taxes for goods and services shipped into California. Customers in other states may be required to remit use taxes. If your organization is exempt, please supply your Customer Care Representative with your resale certificate, so that the tax can be deduced from the order.

Can I order in quantities smaller or larger than those shown?

Most of the time the minimum quantity shown is the required minimum, although we encourage you to call if your requirements mean you need fewer items so we can offer assistance if possible. If you need to order more than the quantities shown please call 877-368-5678 as additional discounts may be available.

If I place multiple orders using the same design, do I still have to pay theset-up fee for each order?

Yes. Each product has a different set-up cost, even if the design or imprint is the same. They would each have to be printed in separate machines and at different times.

What if I receive damaged or broken items?

We use a specialized method of foam packaging to ship our products. In the event that damage is incurred, please advise a Customer Care Representative. We will either replace or credit the damages pieces.

How do I track my order?

Once your order ships your Customer Care Representative will promptly email you the tracking number and invoice corresponding to your order. With this tracking number you will be able to track the progress of your shipment on the carrier’s website (UPS/FedEx)

Sample Questions

Can I see a sample?

Yes! We are happy to send you a random, random indicating either printed from a previous job or blank, sample of an item(s) you are considering. Sample requests may be processed online, by clicking the “Get a Sample” link and following the easy step-by-step instructions. We send, up to two random samples (under $5) via UPS ground shipping, FREE of charge to registered customers. In some circumstances apparel, products with a minimum purchase amount of 1 piece and wearable products may not be free of charge we will contact you to advise you, we need payment for the sample. If an order is placed, totaling over $150.00, within 30 days from the receipt of the sample we will reimburse the sample cost you paid (not including shipping) on your previous sample order.

I don’t have time to wait for the free ground shipping, can you ship sooner?

For RUSH sample requests, we can expedite by using your UPS or FedEx account number or charge your credit card. Our sample service is intended to help those who are seriously considering an item or are looking for ideas. We reserve the right to refuse to send samples at our discretion.

How can I get a sample with my artwork?

Pre-production sample which is an actual sample of the item you are ordering with your imprint is available for most products. This is recommended when time allows. Upon approval of the pre-production sample, your items will be manufactured with standard production time. Pre-production proofs typically incur setup costs in addition to the cost of the item, and can add an additional 5-10 business days to the ordering process to allow for factory setup, production and shipping. Please contact a Customer Care Representative if you would like to request a pre-production sample.

Delivery

How prompt is your delivery?

The transit time is dependant upon the distance between the factory and the shipping destination; anywhere from 1-5 business days.99% of all the orders that we process are shipped on time.

If I place my order today, when will I receive it?

The production time for all products is indicated on the product page. One must factor the production time plus the transit time to estimate the delivery date.

Do you offer rush service?

Yes we offer a 24-hour rush as well as a 3-day rush service. Rush service is available on most products, a red rush icon is provided, as an indication that the product is available for rush service production.

Ordering Process

Once you place your order online, you will immediately receive an e-mail confirmation with your order number. When placing your order online you are given the option of uploading your artwork for the product you are purchasing. If you have not uploaded your artwork online you may send the artwork you would like us to use or work from to create new art, directly to your Customer Care Representative simply by replying to the e-mail you received and attach your art. Shortly thereafter (during business hours) you’ll receive an email from the Customer Care Representative who will be taking personal care of your order. This promotional products expert will fully review your order, make suggestions, confirm dates and review your artwork. Once all of the details are set, the next thing you’ll receive is an emailed (or faxed copy if no email is available) of your proof showing your artwork on a mockup of the item(s) you’re purchasing. At this point you will have the opportunity to approve it, or make suggestions for changes and improvements (remember, all of your artwork for an order is FREE.) How much does it cost to get a sample?

FREE. Samples under $5.00 are free of charge to our registered customers. There is a limit of 2 samples within a 30 day period. We will even pay for Ground Shipping!

Anything over $5.00 will be processed as an order and will have the product charge and a flat fee of $10.00 for Shipping Fees. Apparels and Headwear are not included in our Free Sample Policy and will be charged accordingly.

Can I email my order?

Yes, you can email your order to: sales@anypromo.com or to your Customer Care Associate. Also, attach your artwork to the email if applicable.

If I place multiple orders using the same design, do I still have to pay the set-up fee for each order?

Yes. Each product has different set-up, even if the design or imprint is the same. They would each have to be printed in separate machines and at different times.

Can I order in quantities smaller or larger than those shown?

Most of the time the minimum quantity shown is the required minimum, although we encourage you to call if your requirements mean you need fewer items so we can offer assistance if possible. If you need to order more than the quantities shown please call 877-368-5678, as additional discounts may be available.

Do you offer rush Service?

This depends on the product you are ordering, quantity and imprinting service needed. Most products have rush options available and will be stated at the time of check out if it is available. Please contact your Customer Care Associate to discuss options and fees.

Rush Orders

AnyPromo understands that your promotional needs may occasionally require rush service. Many of our products have rush production options available; please contact a customer care agent to discuss your particular needs.

To request rush service, simply specify during the online order process that you would like rush production. A customer care agent will determine the most cost effective production and shipping options to meet your needs.

Please note that rush service applies only to the manufacturing process; your items will ship using the lowest cost ship method to ensure on time delivery. Rush orders usually incur an additional cost.

24 Hour Rush

In a rush? Take advantage of our 24 Hour Rush Production service, available on hundreds of specially designated items throughout our website! Simply double click on Rush link on our Home Page and click on the 1 Day Rush Service (marked in red on the top of the page) and click Search. You will then see hundreds of products that have a 1-day rush service.

Rush Requirements:

1. Production begins after art and confirmation approval; please allow up to one business day for art processing.

2. Imprint must be one color/one location.

3. Imprint method is limited to one of the following types: Silk Screen, Laser Engraving, Pad Print, Debossing, Color Stamp, Heat Transfer, Epoxy Dome, or Flat Vinyl Print. Not all imprint methods are available for all items; please see individual product page or contact us to learn which methods are available for a specific item. Please note that Embroidery or complex multiple color/multiple location imprints are not available for 24 Hour Rush Production.

4. Quantities less than the stated 24 Hour Rush minimum will incur an additional less than minimum fee.

5. 24 Hour Rush Production refers to imprint process only; shipping lead times and fees are not included.

What is the total cost of my order?

The shopping cart will give you the total cost, including the shipping charge. Also, we will email you an order confirmation within 24 hours, after you place your order online confirming all charges that apply to your order

If I re-order an item will I pay set-up charges again?

Contact your Customer Care Representative. Repeat set-up fees may apply depending on the item you are ordering.

Do you charge sales tax?

We collect all applicable taxes for goods and services shipped. If your organization is exempt, please supply your Customer Care Representative with your resale certificate.

Can I cancel or change my order?

You can cancel at any time prior to the order going into production. Once items have been imprinted with your logo, we can no longer accept a cancellation. If you need to change your order for any reason, please contact your Customer Care Representative (you will get an e-mail from them shortly after you place your order!) and they will be happy to assist you).

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped directly to you from the manufacturer. We guarantee that your merchandise will ship from the factory on or before the date specified in your Order Confirmation or desired due date. We typically provide tracking information within 24 hours of shipment. AnyPromo.com is not responsible for shipping delays or loss of goods caused by the carrier, customs departments, or any other outside influence. All merchandise becomes the property of the purchaser at the time of shipment.

An estimate is indicated on your order confirmation; however, in some instances the cost is greater than estimated.

Can I ship internationally?

How do you ship your products?

Most of the orders weighing in less than 150 lbs are shipped by UPS ground, using special packaged boxes and customized foam packaging. Larger shipments are shipped via trucking lines.

How fast will I get my order?

Production times are listed for every item on the site. This is the number of business days it takes to print your item with a single color imprint after you have approved your artwork. The number of days for delivery depends on the shipping method you choose. As part of the online order process we show you the shipping charges for Ground, 2-day, 3-Day and Next Day Shipment. If you need an item faster than the production time shown or if you have any questions contact us because we love a challenge and would be happy to help!

How do I know when my order has shipped?

You will receive an email notifying you that your order was shipped and we will include a tracking number.

If I place my order today, when will I receive it?

The production and shipping calendar (found beneath the product information) will provide you with a normal delivery date.

Rush options may be available and can be chosen at the time of check-out. Some products have rush services (additional fees apply), and rush shipping is available for all products. Shipping rates will vary depending on the shipping method being used.

How do you ship your products?

All orders are shipped via insured standard delivery (unless otherwise specified) using the carrier of our choice. We make every effort possible to ship your order by the most economical method available to meet your due date. Rest assured that we do not add inflated handling fees like some of our competitors. Orders of excessive size or weight may be shipped via common carrier (freight line); you will be notified if this is necessary.

How do I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, we will notify you and email you the tracking information on your invoice. We use the email address in which you registered in on our website.

How prompt is your delivery?

Over 99% of all the orders that we process are shipped on time. Our website has a calendar below the product information that shows you an estimated production and delivery times. Please note that production time starts once all paperwork is approved

Why did I receive an overage on my order?

In certain instances you may receive an overage or a shortage on your order. Due to manufacturing quality and production standards there will be over runs and occasionally under runs. AnyPromo.com will do everything possible to reduce this occurrence. The industry standard on most products is ± 10%. For instance, if you order 1,000 mugs you could potentially receive between 900 and 1,100 mugs. Exceptions to the above are paper and plastic bags, which may vary ± 25%.

Payment

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept checks and all major credit cards. When issuing a check as payment for an order, funds for the check must clear in the bank before we are able to put your order in production. If your order is time sensitive we strongly suggest a credit card be provided to ensure payment.

When do you charge my credit card?

We authorize that the funds are available on your card (also known as a “booking”) once your order is ready to go into production, but we do not collect the funds until your order ships.

I do not want to pay by credit card.

Not a problem. You can pay by check instead. When issuing a check as payment for an order, funds for the check must clear with the bank before we are able to put your order in production.

How do I place an order if I am paying by check?

Just use the “build an order” option, as if you would be placing a regular order. Print out all the information on the order, including the total price. Rather than proceed to payment, simply mail the order form along with a check (payable to AnyPromo: AnyPromo 13437 Benson Ave Chino CA, 91710) upon receipt of your payment, we will promptly process your order, and e-mail you in regards to the artwork for the order (if applicable)

I still do not feel comfortable sending my credit card information over the Internet. Can I pay for my order another way?

What type of payments do you accept?

We accept all major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Majority of our customers prefer to pay for their orders by credit card. We must receive payment information before we initiate production on your order.

When do you charge my credit card? Do you require pre-payment?

We authorize your card once your order is ready to go into production, but we do not collect the funds until your order ships.

Can we pay by Check?

Yes, you can use a company check, money order, or even cash if you choose. Please be aware that forms of payment that require funds to clear into our account may delay your order. If time is of the essence we strongly recommend using a credit card.

Can we set-up a line of credit?

We are pleased to offer, to those who qualify, a line of credit to be used at AnyPromo.com. Credit review typically takes 5 business days and production will not begin on orders until the review process is complete. If your order is urgent, please use a credit card or call us to make other arrangements.

Guarantees

How does your price guarantee work?

We love our promotional products. And we want you to love them too. That is why, when you buy any of our promotional products, whether branded or unbranded, printed, stitched or uniquely molded, should you for ANY reason not love them, we will refund your money in full.

What if I’m unhappy with my order?

If you’re unhappy with your order because the product is defective or “not as promised” or the imprint quality isn’t “spot on” just contact your Customer Care Representative and we’ll rerun your order or refund your money. We are in this for the long-haul and will work with you to be sure you are 100% satisfied. Really!

Do you have a Lowest Price Guarantee?

If you find a current lower published price, just let us know and we'll be gladly match or beat it!

Your product and imprint will be exactly as you approve them, or we will rerun your order, refund your money or credit your account

What if I am unhappy with my order?

If you are unhappy with your order because the product is defective or not as promised or the imprint quality, just contact your Customer Care Representative and we will rerun your order or refund your money. We are in this for the long-haul and will work with you to be sure you are 100% satisfied. Really!

This applies on all orders up to the value of $1000. Orders taken with the guarantee over this value have the first $1000 covered under the terms of the guarantee.

Orders that have the guarantee attached must have been sampled and approved by the customer prior to full production.

For the terms of the guarantee to be effective, the complete order must be returned, unused and in the original packaging, within seven days of the original delivery or each part of a delivery.

How long do I have after I place my order to return any damaged goods?

Defective returns can be placed, at our discretion, within 30 days from the shipment date. No refunds or credit will be granted after 30 days.

Return Policy

Please check your order for defects immediately upon arrival, as there are absolutely no returns after 30 days from receipt of order. In the event that you receive defective or damaged merchandise (defects unrelated to imprint), please contact our customer care department and we will work diligently to resolve the issue.

In the event that you receive misprinted or incorrect merchandise, please contact our customer care department for assistance. Our No Risk Policy ensures your complete satisfaction, and we'll do everything possible to correct the situation. We will also arrange for pickup of any misprinted, damaged or defective items at no cost to you.

Returns on undamaged blank items require a 10% restocking fee.
