Anypromo Teams Up with Chino American Little League on Opening Day

Opening Day marks the start of Baseball Season. For 2.4 million boys and girls around the world participating in Little League baseball teams, this marks the start of weekends at the park and lots of game-time memories with their friends.

Locally the Chino American Little League brings together over 200 youths and a large number of volunteers that help coach, facilitate games, and help fundraise for the organization. Keeping with the Little League tradition, Anypromo decided to join the fun and support this great community operation.

We were called to action by a fellow community leader,Bonnie Courtemarche, the vice president of the Chino American Little League. Bonnie, knowing our expertise in promotional items and kitting, asked if there were any items we could donate to the league. In exchange for our sponsorship, one of the teams would proudly wear our company name on the back of their team shirts, and we’d also be recognized in front of the entire community on Opening Day.

Beyond wanting to support an organization that helps children learn sportsmanship, discipline, and other great values, we wanted to help create memo- rable moments for the local community youth. Making memorable moments is our company mission after all. There’s nothing that cements a good experience like a memento. For these kits, we included a custom baseball squeezie, a bat-shaped pen, and an absorbent sports’ towel all in a baseball-shaped tote bag.

Immediately after opening the bags on Opening Day, some of the little leaguers play- fully used the pens to hit the squeezies and placed the bright orange cooling towel under their hat as if it were hair. The soft baseball squeezies started flying in an instinctual game of catch, and despite the fact that it was a cloudy Opening Day, kids were still gleefully running around in the misty rain with their new baseball totes.

Long after the little league years for these kids are over, we know our promos can trigger the nostal- gia of youth. Beyond that, they serve as evidence of a supportive community. We want our products to support organizations and companies trying to unite people of all ages for the greater good. On Chino Little League Opening Day, this organization brought parents, community government repre- sentatives, including Chino Mayor Eunice M. Ulloa and Chino city council member Christopher Flores, and businesses like AnyPromo, together as a team to support the future residents of the community.
